Large Space Map Management

PFDM enterprise devices support large space map sharing, suitable for large space scenarios. The sharing of large space maps can be achieved through Enterprise Device Manager, greatly improving deployment and operational efficiency in large space scenarios. Uploading Large Space Maps

Step 1: Create a Map

After completing the map creation process using the large space app on the VR device, a compressed file named Deploy_YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss.zip will be generated in the Maps folder in the root directory of the VR device. The details of the compressed file are shown in the image below:

Step 2: Upload the Map

Export the compressed file from the VR device and upload it via the enterprise console. You can also add a map description if needed.

Note

The compressed package don't need to be decompressed; it can be uploaded directly.

Step 3: View & Delete Maps

After successful upload, you can view or delete the map.

Deploying Large Space Maps

Step 1: Select the "Device" or "Device Group" to Deploy

In the Device Management section, find the device or device group that needs the map deployed, and enter the device or device group details.

Step 2: Access Content Management and Open the Deployment Interface

• On the device or device group details page, click Content Management. Enter the content management interface for the device or device group, and select Large Space Maps.
• Click the Deploy button on the right.

Step 3: Select the Large Space Map to Deploy

Step 4: View Deployment Status, Redeploy, or Remove

• For devices with failed deployments, you can redeploy the map.
• After removing the deployment, the map file will be deleted from the device once it comes online, and the large space mode will be turned off.
